La Federación Española propondrá que se dé por finalizada la temporada y que no haya descensos

La Junta Directiva de la Real Federación Española de Balonmano, reunida esta tarde, va a elevar una propuesta a la Comisión Delegada, órgano de gobierno de la RFEBM, planteando dar por finalizada la temporada 2019/20 sin ejecutar ningún tipo de descenso deportivo pero sí con ascensos de categoría.

Finalizada la Junta Directiva de la Real Federación Española de Balonmano que ha tenido lugar esta tarde de forma telemática, el presidente, Francisco V. Blázquez, ha emitido un comunicado en el que anuncia los términos de la propuesta que la Junta Directiva va a remitir a la Comisión Delegada de la Real Federación Española de Balonmano que, a la postre, es el órgano de gobierno de la misma, y encargado de aceptar o no una propuesta de semejante magnitud, dadas las circunstancias especiales en las que nos encontramos debido a la pandemia del Covid-19.
Así, en su comunicado, Francisco V. Blázquez señala que "elevaremos una propuesta a la Comisión Delegada para dar por finalizadas y que, por tanto, no se disputen más partidos en las competiciones nacionales esta temporada; esto es resultado de las consultas a diferentes estamentos de nuestro deporte, clubes, árbitros, entrenadores, jugadores, jugadoras; así como con el Consejo Superior de Deportes para intentar cubrir las máximas garantías de seguridad sanitarias, y con otras federaciones nacionales deportivas que disponen de ligas regulares, a fin de tratar de tomar una decisión conjunta por el bien del deporte español".
"Así mismo", prosigue, "quiero informar que esta Junta Directiva va a proponer a la Comisión Delegada que esta temporada 2019/2020 no existan descensos deportivos entre los equipos que participan en competiciones nacionales, pero sí queremos premiar a aquellos equipos que han estado trabajando durante seis y siete meses, permaneciendo en los puestos altos de la clasificación, y que quieren dar un salto deportivo; por lo que propondremos que existan ascensos en las distintas competiciones nacionales, velando por el bien de nuestro deporte y tratando de ser lo más justos posibles".
La decisión final, por tanto, queda en manos de la Comisión Delegada que, en caso de aceptar la propuesta, debe ser la encargada, junto con el Departamento de Competiciones de la Real Federación Española de Balonmano, de articular el procedimiento para establecer las plazas de ascenso en cada categoría.
